History In the summer of 1978 we built our headquarters at Kanalen 1 in Esbjerg. In 1982 we passed employee number 100 and the utilization of EDP developed in earnest. Activity is continuing to rise at the shorebase. And soon we had our own fleet of heavy vehicles. Our subsidiary Danserv AS was set up in 1985. Among other activities is the manufacturing and construction of work pieces for the steel industry, and the rental of crew for the oil and gas industry in the North Sea. In 1990 space became too restricted and we built a 5 storey high office building on Kanalen 2 in Esbjerg. In 1992 Danserv participated in the construction of this bridge (piece) with a weight of 700 t for the DAN field. Through the 90'es we experienced expansion in almost all areas, i.e. the harbour where an increasingly number of supply boats had to be loaded as well as unloaded. On 1 June 2005 - to boost the company profile Danserv AS was merged into Danbor Service AS. On 1 January 2006 Maersk H2S Safety Services AS was transferred from Maersk Contractors to Danbor Service AS. This company is one of the world's leading providers of H2S contingency.
